Work That’s Meaningful
The true value of working at Craig HomeCare is what you are doing for our clients and families: keeping families together and allowing them to live the lives they deserve. Our employees are invaluable to the clients and families they care for.
New To Home Health?
Craig HomeCare provides private duty pediatric nursing which means you will work each shift with one child in their home setting performing the same level of care they would receive in the hospital. We’ve seen time and time again the reward that comes with providing one-on-one care and keeping a child where they are most comfortable – their home. At Craig HomeCare we know there is nothing more critical to success for our clients and families than matching them with the right nurse. Before being placed with a client each nurse has a chance to meet with the family and client and get a feel for the care needed and the home setting. Our training and orientation is specific to each client and the unique care and home setting they require. We’ll do whatever we can to make you experience in Home Health a positive and rewarding experience!
Expand Your Pediatric Skills & Experience
Our experienced team will provide the training necessary for you to feel comfortable and demonstrate competence in the appropriate skills. Training can include one-on-one training with the Branch Administrator or Nurse Supervisor, Skills Labs at local hospitals, working shifts alongside the current nurse before working independently and training alongside the parents at the hospital before discharge. Consider this an opportunity to broaden your nursing horizons and gain hands-on experience you might not otherwise get in other settings!
Need a Flexible Schedule?
Each of our clients has a different schedule with shifts varying from 2 to 12 hours in length. At times, a family may need only part time or occasional coverage which means you can work for Craig HomeCare when it works for you! Craig HomeCare provides nursing around the clock and works with our nurses’ schedules whether they are Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN.
We Make it Easier
At Craig HomeCare we have always been driven to provide care in underserved areas and use local nurses who understand our clients. We understand that coming in to the office can be a burden in some areas so our staff can come to you! When possible, we will interview and conduct orientation in your community, eliminating the need to travel to the office.
