Craig HomeCare staffs over 600 specially trained pediatric RNs, LPNs or CNAs in the home & community setting to care for the specific medical needs of pediatric patients. Our pediatric nurses work customized shifts to provide the patients care up to 24 hours a day. Clinically, we have many years of proven success caring for the most medically complex and fragile children and their families. We work in cooperation with the patients’ physician, clinic staff, hospital staff, insurance companies, case managers, and the family to ensure the best plan of care is developed and followed. This allows the child to benefit from the collaboration of all the providers involved in their care.
Examples of Care Provided:
- Ventilators
- Tracheostomies
- Feeding Tubes
- Oxygen
- Etc……….
We understand the stress and challenges presented to the family while loving and caring for a medically fragile child in the home. Craig HomeCare strives to provide the family with qualified, caring and dedicated pediatric nurses to allow the family time to also take care of themselves and not worry about the care being provided to their child.
Our pediatric private duty nursing services make it possible for medically fragile children to stay at home in their communities and with their families, instead of staying in the hospital or other medical institutions. Craig HomeCare serves three states covering both metro and rural areas. This allows families in rural areas the opportunity to stay in their home and not have to move to a metro area for in- home private duty nursing care.
Benefits of private duty nursing:
- Care is provided by highly trained and competent nurses in your home, allowing your child and your family to thrive in your home and community setting instead of remaining in the hospital or institutional setting.
- Care is coordinated with your primary physician and all providers involved in the care plan, supporting the best care plan and health outcomes possible.
- We realize that having nurses in your home is both helpful and stressful at times. We respect that so we involve you in selecting nurses that fit both your needs and your child’s needs.
- Peace of mind knowing that you can sleep, go to work, pay attention to your other children and family members, all while knowing your medically fragile child is in competent and caring hands.
